Will the beta game support Web 3 integration?

No. Web 3 integration will only be supported in the official version of the game.

What is forging?

Players will have the ability to forge their cards together to create stronger characters, essentially leveling up your card. To read more about crafting and other game mechanics click here

Why should I forge my cards?

Forging your cards increases card stats and accordingly effectiveness in combat. It also increases that beast's scarcity, thus making it more valuable.

What's the purpose of the AD Pass?

The AD Pass ensures you receive airdrops for all future seasons in perpetuity.

What will happen to the MetaBeasts NFT Collection ?

No changes will happen to the collection, it will remain as “MetaBeasts S1”.

Why not use the Genesis collection NFTs for game ?

Since the NFTs in our genesis collection are 1155 tokens, it makes it extremely difficult to change the MetaData for individual users, resulting in limitations in future functionality and gaming utility. This means that we will need to create a new contract in order to enable holders to utilize their assets. This collection will be able to support item forging, construction, and deconstruction, while also providing a much more effective way of making in-game transactions and adding new characters and items to the same collection.

Will I be able to use MetaBeasts in the Game ?

Every NFT Holder will be airdropped the same characters they hold from the MetaBeasts Collection in our game, enabling them to use their characters in-game, while still being able to keep the project’s first ever collectables. These holders will also get an exclusive role in the discord server, with a variety of other benefits that will be disclosed closer to the launch.

How can I buy digital trading cards for the Web 3 game?

NFTs will be distributed through chests - that emulate real world packs (similar to our initial collection). The main difference will be in the supply and distribution of the chests. Users will be able to purchase an unlimited amount of chests for the duration of the season. After the season ends, that chest will no longer be available for purchase and will be replaced with the following season's chest (containing new characters and in-game items).

Will the game be free to play ?

How will you ensure the game isn’t skewed toward players that pay to play

Players will be able to progress in-game and earn cards just by playing. We will also feature specific game modes that are unranked, and less competitive allowing players to have an even playing field.

Will there be different types of chests ?

Yes, chests will be sub categorized by rarity. Higher rarity chests will drop higher rarity cards.

What are shards?

Shards a crafting resource acquired from winning games, opening chests and deconstructing cards. Shards of the same rarity can be combined together to create a random card of that same rarity.
